life circles

Natural forms familiar to us all are the foundation of the design process for this body of work. The circles and the pod forms are the vehicle with which I explore a series of life cycles. These broken circles carry vessel-like pods that are whole with life, or open and empty. The inside and outside, the perfect and imperfect are equally important.

Most people live, whether physically, intellectually or morally, in a very restricted circle of their potential being.
